The Award for PTA Transformation of the Year
About this award
Prize: £250
For PTAs who have grown as an association, demonstrated by their members or projects, and have gained recognition from their school, community and other successful collaborations. PTAs will need to show at least two achievements.
Award nominations are open to all PTAs in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
- PTAs can nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else
- The project/PTA growth must have occurred between January and December 2024
- Nominations can be submitted via our website or by sending the completed digital version of the nomination form via email
The overview/nomination statement (required)
To maximise your chances of success, we recommend your overall nomination statement covers the following points:
- How the PTA achieve growth in terms of committee members and/or volunteers within the school and/or the wider community
- Demonstrate how the PTA identified the need for further inclusivity, achieved it and the impact this has had on the school and/or wider community
- How the PTA has improved their creditability to become an influential association within their school and/or wider community to ensure the best outcomes for their school’s children and/or young people
- Present how collaboration with third parties (not the school) has benefitted their school community
Endorsement statements (optional)
You may include an endorsement from your school. The endorsement statement can be written by the head teacher, their nominated deputy or a member of the governing body. This should include:
- The impact the growth of the PTA has had
- Their inclusive approach
- Their increased credibility amongst their peers
- How they have collaborated with third parties (not the school) and how it has positively impacted the school and/or wider community
