This webinar will help parents understand the key knowledge, skills, and concepts that young children will acquire in Reception, the year they turn five. We will cover the 7 areas of learning and development in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), the Early Learning Goals, and the Reception Baseline Assessment. Yes, the webinars are free to attend for everyone – you don’t have to be a parent of a Parentkind PTA member school.
Sign up through this page on the website. Fill in the fields, selecting your school and the webinar you’d like to attend. You’ll then be asked a few sign-up questions. Once registered you will receive a registration confirmation email. There is no need for a PTA login or any kind of account – anyone can access the page. If you don’t have a child in school, select the most appropriate option under ‘other sign-up options’ along with the webinar you’d like to attend. You’ll then follow the same process as outlined above.
The webinars aren’t recorded, so there is no option for parents to receive a recording after the event. We encourage attendance on the day so you can take part in the interactive session.
No, turning on your camera is not required. However, if you’re able to, we encourage it as it helps create a more engaging and interactive experience.
