Terms and Conditions for Use of Parentkind National Parent Survey Data

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the National Parent Survey Data (“Data”) provided by Parentkind. By accessing, downloading, or using the Data, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Data.

2. Permitted Use

a. The Data is provided for informational and non-commercial purposes only. Permitted uses include:

i. Academic research

ii. Educational purposes

iii. Policy development

iv. Issue based advocacy

v. Journalism and media reporting

vi. Internal organizational analysis

b. You may use the Data to create new insights, reports, and presentations, provided that such use is for non-commercial purposes.

3. Prohibited Use

a. You shall not use the Data for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to:

4. Acknowledgment of Source

a. You must clearly and prominently acknowledge Parentkind as the source of the Data in all publications, reports, presentations, or any other works that use or reference the Data.

b. The acknowledgment should include the following text: Data from the Parentkind National Parent Survey.”

c. If you are referencing a specific finding or statistic, you must cite the full name of the survey and the year it was conducted, for example: According to the Parentkind National Parent Survey 2023…”

5. Disclaimer

a. The Data is provided as is” and Parentkind makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Data.

b. Parentkind shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Data.

6. Intellectual Property

The Data remains the intellectual property of Parentkind. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Data in accordance with these Terms.

7. Termination

Parentkind reserves the right to terminate your access to the Data at any time if you fail to comply with these Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
