The Parents Lottery New
A Simple, Sustainable Fundraising Option for PTAs and Schools
The Parents Lottery has been created to support PTAs and schools of all sizes, helping them build funds for the projects and activities that make a real difference to children and young people.
How The Parents Lottery works
The Parents Lottery is designed to be simple to set up and easy to manage, even for PTAs with limited time or volunteers.
Once your PTA or school is registered, you’ll receive a personalised lottery page and a set of ready-made resources to help you share it with your school community. Parents and supporters can choose to take part by purchasing tickets online, with weekly draws helping to maintain ongoing interest and engagement.
The platform is fully managed on your behalf, meaning there is no need to handle payments, administer entries, or manage the draw itself. This allows PTAs and schools to benefit from the lottery without taking on additional administrative responsibility.
Designed to fit around everything else you do
Unlike event-based fundraising, which often requires significant planning and volunteer time, The Parents Lottery runs in the background. Once it is set up and shared with parents, it can continue to generate support week after week with minimal ongoing input from your PTA.
This makes it particularly well-suited to busy school communities, where volunteer capacity can change throughout the year.
Building sustainable income over time
The strength of The Parents Lottery lies in its consistency. Rather than relying on one-off events, it provides an ongoing fundraising option that can support your PTA throughout the school year.
Many PTAs choose to promote the lottery at key moments, such as the start of the school year, in newsletters, or alongside other fundraising activities, allowing income to build gradually over time.
Supporting your long-term fundraising plans
The Parents Lottery is not intended to replace traditional PTA fundraising. Instead, it works alongside existing activities, helping to diversify your income and reduce pressure on volunteers.
By combining events, donations, and ongoing fundraising options like the lottery, PTAs can create a more resilient approach to funding the projects, resources, and experiences that benefit their pupils and school community.

By adding a low-effort, ongoing fundraising option alongside your existing activities, your PTA can take a more sustainable approach to supporting your school.
