At Empties Please we specialise in recycling printer cartridges. We’ll collect your used cartridges and donate the money raised back to your school.

Our aim is to help schools raise funds and to encourage the next generation to get greener.

Alongside raising school funds we also run an Eco Project’ designed to get your pupils outside and learning about their local environment and wildlife. As well as every ‘£1’ you raise we give you 1 Green Point’ these points can be redeemed for Green Goodies’ for your school, anything from seed packs to adopting an endangered animal!

Cartridges can be collected from anywhere, school, home, work, clubs, friends and family.

If parents would like to take a bin to work on behalf of your school we can supply a pack for them to do so. This is a great way of boosting the money you raise. You could also ask local businesses to display a bin for you, do you have a local shop, bank or business that could help?

Empties Please is COMPLETELY FREE TO RUN. We’ll send you everything you need to start your recycling. Your recycle bins and recycle bags for the pupils to take home will be sent once your account is set up. You’ll also receive a welcome email with your welcome pack’ attached.

Damers First School have been taking part in Empties Please since November 2017. It is a fantastic idea that has brought the children and their parents together to do their bit for the environment as well as raising money for the school. The children have encouraged local businesses to collect their printing cartridges and toners and they drop them off at school. We have raised £340 so far which has gone towards a bird hide in the school grounds.
