Parentkind is proud to have worked in partnership with PiXL over the past year to support school leaders to build positive partnerships with parents. We have collaborated to produce powerful resources and opportunities for school leaders to power-up parental participation, which leads to better outcomes for children and young people. We are delighted to have PiXL’s support as a Patron of our National Parent Survey 2025.

Rachel Johnson, CEO of PiXL said:

At PiXL, we work alongside school leaders with the aim to improve outcomes and life chances for all children and young people. We are driven by intelligence from our schools as well as national evidence and data to inform how to best support our member schools. In recent years, we have been seeing increasing evidence, anecdotally as well as in research, that the social contract between home and school is being broken.

We know that a strong partnership between school and home creates the best possible conditions in which children and young people can engage with and thrive in school. We also know that, in order to strengthen our current partnership with parents, we must have a deeper understanding of parents and the challenges that they are facing.

That is why we are so thrilled and excited to be partnering with Parentkind and supporting the National Parent Survey, through which we can reach this deeper understanding and knowledge. We look forward to an ongoing partnership, with Parentkind and our schools, as we work together to address and overcome these challenges and to share the practice that is already having real impact.”
