Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive at school, but navigating the education system can be challenging for parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). That’s why we’ve launched our SEND support hub, a dedicated space designed to offer guidance, resources and reassurance to help families feel informed and empowered.

What is the SEND hub?

Our SEND hub brings together expert advice, practical tools and personal stories to support you through every stage of your child’s education journey. Whether your child has just received a diagnosis or you’ve been advocating for them for years, the hub is here to help you make sense of the system and understand your rights.

We cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • Understanding SEND and the law
  • Applying for an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
  • Working effectively with your child’s school
  • Finding your local SEND services
  • Accessing emotional support and community networks

Created for parents

Our SEND hub is shaped by the real experiences of parents. Our content reflects the challenges they face, the questions they ask and the support they need most. It’s a space for honest conversations, reliable information and signposts to trusted organisations.

Why the SEND hub matters

Parents often tell us that they feel isolated or overwhelmed when trying to secure the right support for their child. Our SEND hub aims to break down barriers and give you the confidence to advocate for your child, while also helping you feel part of a wider community of parents who understand what you’re going through.

Education can, and should, work for every child. With the right information and support, parents can play a powerful role in making that happen.
