With the summer holidays just around the corner, here are a few things to do before the end of term to set you up for a strong start this September.

Celebrate your hard work!

Share your highlights of the year and how much you raised with your school community

Thank your supporters

Meet with the headteacher to review the year and ask for feedback

Discuss rough plans for next year with your members

Pencil in some rough dates in the diary for next year’s plans

Review your finances

Declutter and organise your physical stock (don’t forget to check expiry dates!)

Make sure all equipment is in working order

Declutter and organise paperwork and digital files (making sure to comply with GDPR)

Check your details are up to date with your online accounts

Plan handovers and recruit new members if anyone is stepping down

Prep for new starters and their parents (welcome packs, coffee mornings)

Organise your AGM

Take a well-earned rest!
