Merry Christmas from Caroline!

Spring fundraising
So, what’s next on your programme? The spring term is always a tricky one. It’s dark, cold and everyone is feeling the penny pinch after Christmas – not to mention you’re exhausted from running the Christmas fair and catching every cold going! That makes January the perfect time for some low-effort, high-impact fundraisers that you can run with ease.
Why not opt for a quiz night? Or perhaps the dark evenings are great for a movie night? Both of these events are low-pressure, easy and inexpensive to run, and guaranteed crowd-pleasers! To make your January planning even simpler, check out our ultimate PTA guides that cover everything from quiz nights to quick and easy fundraisers.
Stocking up
Planning raffles, tombolas, bake sales and gift stalls for the year ahead? The January sales are a brilliant time to stock up on goodies – just remember to check the best before dates on any perishable items and make sure you have a secure, dry place to store them!
Chasing the sun
As shocking as it may seem, you may also want to start thinking about your summer fair! Six months can feel like a long time, but if you want popular vendors like bouncy castles or food vans, you may need to book them early to secure your dates and avoid disappointment. Whether it’s your first summer fair or you’re a seasoned pro, take advantage of our ultimate PTA guide to summer fairs so you can keep cool and keep fundraising!
Whatever you’re doing over the festive period, we hope that you have a wonderful time. From all of us at Parentkind, we’d like to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Did you know that over 80% of our members renew on the 1st January each year? Renewal notices have already been sent out so if you don’t pay by direct debit, make sure you pay that before you switch off for Christmas!
