We offer practical and energetic half and full day workshops covering the key aspects of parental engagement and involvement that can help transform schools: developing a Parent Council, overcoming barriers, and taking a whole school approach.

Our inspiring workshops bring together tried and tested approaches that you can implement immediately to bring about real, measurable change at your school.

Workshops are held at locations across England, Wales and Scotland, and we can deliver bespoke training sessions at your school too.

Developing a Parent Council at your school

Explore how schools can develop a Parent Council or forum as an effective mechanism for listening and responding to parents' views. Identify what's right for your school and how you can build an ongoing and positive partnership with parents. A range of case studies are presented, and participants are supported to develop an effective strategy for their own schools.

This workshop helps schools who feel they've tried everything but are still battling to engage "harder to reach" parents.

This workshop explores a range of strategies that help schools develop effective and valuable partnerships with parents in order to raise attainment. We’ll look at ways to: improve home/school communication, gain parental support for learning, reach disengaged families and listen and respond to parents’ views.
