Social Media Ban Joint Letter — January 2026

This is a letter sent to Sir Kier Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Sir Ed Davey today calling on them to back an Amendment 94a to the Children’s Wellbeing and School Bill, to ban social media for children under 16. It is backed by 26 leading voices across 13 organisations including high profile names such as Hugh Grant, Peter Andre and Sophie Winkleman.
