Parentkind launches the National Parent Survey 2025
Parentkind has unveiled the 2025 edition of its National Parent Survey, marking the UK’s largest annual parent poll. Conducted in partnership with The Times and The Sunday Times, and powered by YouGov, the survey captures over 134,000 insights from parents across the UK. This extensive research delves into key issues affecting families today, including education, mental health, special educational needs and safety. The findings aim to provide policymakers and educators with a clearer understanding of parental perspectives, advocating for more inclusive and supportive policies for families nationwide.
The launch event for the National Parent Survey 2025 will open with a keynote address on the role of parents in education by the Secretary of State for Education, Rt. Hon. Bridget Phillipson MP, and will be followed by a panel discussion chaired by Fraser Nelson, columnist for The Times. The discussion on the parent role in education and society, will bring together Sir Martyn Oliver, HM Chief Inspector at Ofsted, Justine Roberts CBE, Founder of Mumsnet, Jason Elsom, CEO of Parentkind, and Dame Rachel de Souza, Children’s Commissioner for England.
The National Parent Survey 2025 would not have been possible without the generous support of our patrons: Axa Health, The Careers and Enterprise Company, The Guinness Partnership, PiXL and Sarasin and Partners.
