You agree to use this site for lawful purposes only and not in any way that might infringe third party rights or that might bring Parentkind into disrepute or ridicule.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Parentkind and our affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, damages and expenses arising from your use of this site.

These Terms of Use refer to Parentkind’s web platform located at www.parentkind.org.uk, any subdomains of www.parentkind.org.uk, and any related microsites or websites operated by Parentkind, all referred to under the term ​“the Site”.

Parentkind reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use from time to time without notice to you and you agree to be bound by any such changes in your subsequent use of the Site.

The agreement between you and Parentkind is formed on the basis of these Terms of Use (the ​“Agreement”) and will terminate immediately if you breach the Agreement. Parentkind reserves the right to terminate this Agreement at any time. The termination of this Agreement or your right to use the Site is without prejudice to any rights which the Parentkind may have against you in respect of such breach.

Parentkind does not accept any liability from any inaccuracy or omission in the information or interruption in availability, you are advised to verify the accuracy of any information before relying on it. Suggestions or advice contained on this website should not be relied upon in place of professional advice. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of facts, instructions, suggestions and/​or opinions given on this website before entering into any commitment based upon them.

Any reference to a linked site or third party by name does not constitute or imply its endorsement by us, and you assume all risk with respect to its use.

All materials available on the Site (the ​“Materials”) — including but not limited to text, video, data, clips, audio clips, designs, logos, illustrations, still images and html code is either owned by Parentkind, or has been licensed by Parentkind, its partners or sponsors for inclusion within the Site. These are protected by copyright, trademark, database and other intellectual property and proprietary rights and must not be copied, reproduced, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way without our prior written consent.

All trademarks used or referred to in this site are the property of their respective owners. The content on this site is provided for information purposes and links on this site may lead to services or sites not operated by Parentkind.

Parentkind would like to hear from any intellectual property rights owners who are not properly identified on the Site so that we may make the necessary corrections and display the appropriate notices.

We may require you to register and provide information about yourself, and where you do this you agree to:

1. Provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself (Registration Data).
2. Maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate current and complete. 
3. To ensure during the duration of your PTA membership by Parentkind that the Key Contact identified is an active committee member or affiliated school employee, and email address and phone numbers are provided
4. To ensure that your association as a data controller has the lawful basis to pass personal data to Parentkind as an independent data controller
5. To ensure at all times during the course of your PTA membership at least one email address is provided to which Parentkind can send you updates regarding your membership and information and notifications about renewals
6. Not to store any personal information on the PTA members area of our website which breaches the terms of access, without a lawful basis, or without completing and returning the data processing agreement to [email protected]

Both parties to this agreement as data controllers will adhere at all times with UK and European Data Protection Laws at all times, and will undertake to transfer and store data securely between each other.

Parentkind is a data controller of all personal data passed to us by your association except for any which you choose to store on our member area documents pages. You can access the required data processing agreement here.

All orders are subject to our terms and conditions on this page.

We accept your order only when we send an email confirming that we have dispatched the items in your order.

All prices are shown in pounds sterling. Prices shown include VAT, where VAT is required to be applied to the item under UK law. VAT is charged at the current prevailing rate.

Although we make every effort to ensure the prices listed are correct, mistakes may sometimes be made. If a mistake is discovered in the price of the items you have ordered, we will tell you and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. In this instance, if we are unable to contact you or we receive no reply from you your order will be cancelled. Parentkind reserves the right to change prices listed without notice. Parentkind reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual, company or charity.

We do not accept the following payment methods:

• Cash sent through the post
• Currency other than UK pounds sterling

Promotions

• Any promotions and discounts are given at our discretion and may be withdrawn by us at any time without notice. 

Payment may be made by credit card, debit card and Paypal using Sagepay secure online payment process. A receipt will be will be sent by email from Sagepay confirming payment.

Please note that if you do not provide accurate details or if your credit card company does not authorise payment, your application will be deemed void. Parentkind will not accept any liability for costs incurred as a result of applications deemed void in this manner.

Data protection

Parentkind does not sell, trade or rent out your personal information to others. However Parentkind may contact you with useful and interesting additional information regarding our products and services. Please see our Privacy Policy for further information.

This Site may contain material which some people may find offensive. Parentkind would like to stress that it has no intention of causing any offence and suggests that people who find material contained on the Site offensive should either not view the material in question or should not visit the Site. Parentkind bear no responsibility for any offence that may be caused by people viewing the Site.

Parentkind makes no promise that the Site will meet your requirements or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error free.

Parentkind may discontinue and will modify and update the Site from time to time with or without notice to you and without liability to you or any third party.

Due to the nature of the internet and the fact that your access to the Site involves features outside Parentkind’s control, Parentkind is not responsible for technical problems you may experience with the Site. The Site is provided by Parentkind without any warranties or guarantees. You must bear the risks associated with the use of the Internet.

You understand and agree that Parentkind does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information in or provided in connection with the Site. Parentkind is not responsible for the results obtained from the use of such information from the Site.

To the full extent allowed by applicable law, you agree that Parentkind will not be liable to you/​or any third party for any consequential or incidental damages (including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, loss of privacy and loss of data) or any other indirect, special or punitive damages whatsoever that arise out of or are related to your use of the Site.

As a convenience to users of the Site, the Site includes links to other web sites or material which are beyond its control. Parentkind is not responsible for content on the Internet or World Wide Web pages outside the Site.

English law shall apply to these terms, notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with these terms and for those purposes irrevocably submit all disputes to the jurisdiction of the English courts. The place of performance shall be England.

Parentkind makes no warranty or guarantee that the Site or information available over it complies with laws other than those of England.
