About Parentkind
We are the network of PTA fundraisers in the UK. We bring specialist fundraising support and advice to parent volunteers so that every school can benefit from a successful PTA. Our 12,500 PTA members raise over £120+ million per year, placing us alongside some of the largest charities in the UK and positively impacts 3.97 million children’s education.
Over the last three years, PTAs have raised a staggering total of £308.5 million, all of which goes directly to our schools. In just the two years before the pandemic, from 2018 to 2019, the income that PTAs raised increased by 12% from £108 million to £121 million. This is a huge contribution, which enables schools to invest in a wide range of essential and additional resources for children. Including leaver’s gifts, educational materials, outdoor learning areas, playground equipment, IT equipment, school libraries, school trips, school renovation projects, health and wellbeing activities and much more.

PTAs fundraise in many different ways throughout the year; including raffles, selling merchandise, uniform sales, food sales, sponsored events, discos, quizzes, summer and Christmas fairs, bingo, film nights and many many more.
Our PTA members make up 77% of all known PTAs across England, Wales and Northern Ireland; this accounts for 45% of schools, 100k parent committee members and an additional significant army of parent volunteers.
