Being a parent of an ADHD child can be like a rollercoaster sometimes. This particular brand of neurodivergence can be unpredictable at times. But with the right strategies and understanding, parents will share a bond with fiercely loyal and wonderfully fantastic children. Trained psychotherapist and parent coach, Gwen Jones, talks about how ADHD can manifest in children and how particular quirks may affect mental health. She also talks about advocacy and being neurodivergent affirmative in parenting. Yes, the webinars are free to attend for everyone – you don’t have to be a parent of a Parentkind PTA member school.
You sign-up via this page on the website. Fill in the fields, selecting your school and you will then be taken to the registration form in Zoom to complete the sign-up.
Only parents selecting PTA member schools will be able to complete the sign-up.
It may be that the webinar you are trying to sign-up for is fully booked. We have had to cap the numbers for sessions in order to make them feasible to facilitate. If you’d like to be added to a waiting list for a particular webinar, please email [email protected]
The parent webinar page is on our website and doesn’t require a PTA login or any kind of account. Anyone can access the page.
The webinars won’t be recorded, so there is no option for parents to receive a recording after the event. We encourage attendance on the day to make for an interactive session.
We are in the process of booking a few additional parent webinars with a partner organisation. These will be run on weekday mornings and the dates are still to be confirmed.
