Parentkind research shows that 31% of parents are more relaxed about getting kids to school and 20% of parents say it’s harder to get their child to school since the pandemic. -

According to the Educational Endowment Fund, parental engagement in a child’s schooling can equate to an average of four months of additional academic progress per year. -
Advance student wellbeing
ThThe National Parent Survey tells us that more than half of parents say their child has experienced a mental health challenge in the last year and 21% of those say it has affected their academic results.
Building on our Blueprint for Parent-Friendly Schools
Launched in 2020, our framework, the Blueprint for Parent-Friendly Schools, holds the evidence-based drivers for parental engagement.

Your journey to accreditation
Launching in the Spring term 2025, our Parent-Friendly School accreditation will provide the pathway to schools to get them to gold.
Following an initial online assessment, schools will get:
- An accreditation badge to showcase their qualified parent-friendliness
- A personalised, comprehensive report of your school’s start point
- Resources and support to enable the action needed to improve
- Access to training, consulting and advice to get your school to it’s goals
- A reassessment with a leading expert to verify your new standard
