Helping schools raise attendance and learning outcomes by partnering with parents. This journey to the gold standard of parental engagement sees assessment, advice, resources, support and accreditation to certify your school as parent-friendly.

Building on our Blueprint for Parent-Friendly Schools

Launched in 2020, our framework, the Blueprint for Parent-Friendly Schools, holds the evidence-based drivers for parental engagement.

The journey to build out this standard in school parental participation included:

  1. Commissioned research
The Research Centre for Children and Families (RCFCFC) at Canterbury Christ Church University evaluated our findings and research
  2. The Five Key Drivers
That reinforce success in parental participation across schools
  3. Consultation
With over 50 key stakeholders including policy makers, education agencies, parents and teachers
  4. Parental participation framework
Clear action relevant to each school setting, which helps identify strengths as well as areas for development

Your journey to accreditation

Launching in the Spring term 2025, our Parent-Friendly School accreditation will provide the pathway to schools to get them to gold.
