Hand Made Places
Hand Made Places adds the magic to outdoor environments.
Our inclusive playground equipment supports active, imaginative, sensory and traditional play as well as outdoor learning.
Working with early years settings, schools, SEND education providers, local authorities, architects and contractors across the UK, we design, manufacture and install everything needed for exciting and inspirational playgrounds.
Play has an essential role in our schools and communities, and as part of the Broxap group of companies, we believe in delivering high-quality playground projects packed with play value.
From our 10,000 sq ft timber production facility in North Staffordshire, the heart of England, we develop and craft a wide range of climbing frames and play units, challenging trim trails, outdoor classrooms, playground furniture and inclusive products which users of all abilities can access.
At the heart of our manufacturing process is a commitment to sustainability, producing long-lasting, durable and safe playground equipment using the latest technology to save energy, cut carbon emissions and manage waste.
Our aim is to create engaging outdoor spaces where everyone can have fun – and to protect the environment in the process so that the enjoyment extends across generations to come.
Mrs K Schonau — Hillside Primary SchoolHere at Hillside Primary we have used Hand Made Places products across the whole of the key stages from early years/foundation through Key Stages 1 to 2.
In an ever-competitive market place we found that Hand Made Places always offered the perfect solution to fit the criteria of the staff and pupils from a teaching/learning and play perspective. Their Sales Advisers offer a wealth of knowledge and understanding of what each pupil stage needs to fulfil aspects such as motor skills, physical education and learning through play. Installers are always professional, courteous and sympathetic to working inside or outside school hours. The salesperson provided us with detailed quotations and a 3D visual which allowed us to see what the end result would look like in our own surroundings.
The products themselves are of a very high quality and extremely durable and the children love them, all in all we are more than happy with our products and installations and would not hesitate to use the company again.
