Parentkind appoints new CEO

24 June 2019
Parentkind appoints John Jolly as the new Chief Executive, officially taking up the role on 24th June 2019. He joins from Blenheim CDP, a London based charity, where he spent nearly 13 years as Chief Executive.

John Jolly will drive Parentkind in its mission to inspire and enable all parents to play an active role in their child’s education through positive engagement and participation at every school, so that every child can thrive. Championing and advocating for parent voice to be heard locally and nationally and building on the offering and support provided by Parentkind to PTA members and schools will be central to the future direction of the charity under his leadership.

With his extensive experience of developing and supporting coalitions of charities and public sector bodies to campaign for, and influence changes in Government policy and funding, Mr Jolly will make a valuable contribution to achieving Parentkind’s strategic aims in the months and years to come.

We are delighted to welcome John as our new Chief Executive. With such a wealth of experience in operational and strategic leadership roles in public, charity and partnership development, I am confident that he will build successfully on the excellent work of his predecessors to support more parents to get involved in their child’s education at school and at home .”

Joe Saxton, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Parentkind

I am looking forward to leading the charity to achieve our mission and fully recognise and support the critical role parents can play in their child’s education. Parentkind works tirelessly for its members while helping parents, schools and society as a whole through the information, advice and campaigning it does. I’m looking forward to building on these solid foundations to ensure we are doing everything we can as a charity, to help every child achieve their full potential in education.”
