Our workshops are now CPD accredited

This means that our workshops will now count towards your career development; so if you are a head teacher, senior leader, teacher, governor, pastoral support or family liaison officer (or any other person working with parents), then we can provide you with new and useful skills to help support your professional growth.

We have three practical and interactive workshops available to you:

Whole School Approach to Parental Engagement (6 CPD learning hours)

You will look at the research behind parental engagement, take inspiration from case studies and guidance from our expert trainer in order to create a parental engagement strategy, specifically tailored for your whole school.

Developing a Parent Council (3.5 CPD learning hours)

You will look at ways you can set up and maintain an effective Parent Council – looking at research and case studies to better understand how your school can work at really building a strong partnership with parents.

Overcoming Barriers (3.5 CPD learning hours)

You will look at the reasons why parents don’t currently engage with schools, so that with our trainer, you can identify and address the issues within your own school, producing an effective strategy to overcome your specific barriers and encourage effective parental engagement.

The workshops are led by our network of expert trainers, who received 100% positive feedback on their training technique, subject knowledge and experience within the sector (2019 feedback surveys). From ex-Ofsted inspectors to parental Engagement Champions, our trainers know their stuff and can support you in using parental engagement as a lever for school improvement.
