Parentkind exists to empower all with parental or educational responsibility to improve the life chances of children, young people and their communities.

85% of parents want a say in their children’s education, and the evidence is clear that parental participation in education benefits all children in all schools, and delivers benefits for society as a whole. When home and school work effectively together, children can achieve their full potential. And when parents are thriving, their children can thrive too. Our mission is to tirelessly support and champion all the ways parents can participate in education and have their voices heard. We want to be a powerful force for good in education in the UK that strives to bring homes and schools together for the good of all children and society as a whole.

We have ambitious plans to further increase our impact and, to enable this, are rolling out a central fundraising strategy for the first time. We began to build our fundraising team just over a year ago and have enjoyed some fantastic early successes, partnering with high profile brands and funders to drive forward new Parentkind initiatives and support our members to have even more impact in their communities.

We are looking for a dynamic, skilled and experienced corporate fundraiser to play a key role in building on this success, nurturing the relationships we have established and driving business development activity to deliver corporate partnerships income growth over the coming years.

You will develop an engaging corporate offer which delivers value for our partners and build a high performing corporate partnerships function. This role currently line manages one direct report and we are committed to investing appropriately in growing this income stream. You will have the opportunity to shape and build your team in the coming months and years.

If you are excited by the potential for creating impactful, innovative partnerships and the opportunity to build something transformational alongside passionate and committed colleagues, we would love to hear from you.

You’ll have

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in high value fundraising, including substantial corporate partnerships experience
  • Demonstrable success in securing significant (6‑figure +) partnerships with corporates
  • Demonstrable track record of identifying strategic partnership opportunities and building a robust new business pipeline
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding financial targets and delivering income growth.
  • Proven experience in managing, motivating and developing others to deliver excellence in their work
  • Strong understanding of the UK corporate fundraising landscape, including trends, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills — strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality written applications, proposals and deliver impactful presentations

You’ll get

  • To join a fast-moving charity with an exciting future
  • To build your own team, playing a key role in driving forward the charity’s strategy and shaping our fundraising activity
  • Remote working full-time with a great online team culture
  • 25 days holiday in addition to UK public holidays
