ZSL London Zoo is the world's oldest scientific zoo and has been educating and inspiring visitors since opening in 1828.

ZSL London Zoo has been a centre of learning for over 180 years and offer a variety of specially designed education learning sessions delivered by one of our award-winning Discovery and Learning officers! Teachers can choose from a wide range of education sessions to suit the interests and curiosities of the pupils, and linking to the National Curriculum, ZSL London Zoo delivers interactive experiences using resources such as live animals, biofacts and multimedia.

A very enjoyable day and Zoo experience, which many of them have never had the chance to experience outside of school.
The children learned about different animal skin types and colours, how and why they are different, endangered species and the police involvement at border controls. The session was interactive and there were lots of visuals which made it memorable.
