West End in Schools offers dance and drama workshops, pantomimes, and Shakespeare workshops to primary schools all over the UK.
Every child’s imagination should be inspired by the arts. Our mission is to use the skills of professional theatre to provide highly creative cultural experiences which children will remember for ever.
Our workshops and shows are created and performed by professional actors, writers, directors and designers who we commission from within the professional theatre and children’s television industries.
For the 2021-2022 year we’re offering a wide range of dance and drama workshops tailored for Reception to Year 6. Topics range from literacy, anti-bullying, Diwali, climate change and Shakespeare.
In particular our Anti-bullying drama workshop runs class-by-class to spread a positive and inclusive anti-bullying message, and is ideal for Anti-bullying week (15th to 19th November).
Our literacy-based workshops are especially popular during World Book Day in March. Bringing Books to Life workshops explore popular children’s books through dance, while Shakespeare Explorer workshops take on some of the Bard’s most popular plays.
You can find out more on our website, and please do get in touch – we’d love to hear from you!
