Hand Made Places supplies creative, educational, hand-finished wooden equipment for playgrounds in primary schools and nurseries across the UK.

Based just on the edge of the South Downs National Park in the heart of Hampshire, Hand Made Places has seen huge growth since its inception. We started life in a garage with one man designing, making and building everything almost single-handedly. Our Hand Made home now is a 30,000 sq ft building, which contains our traditional yet modern workshop and offices.

Having firmly established ourselves as a trusted supplier to schools, nurseries and children’s centres all over the UK; we also work with many town and parish councils and national attractions supplying outdoor classrooms, gazebos, imaginative play, play sculptures, sensory play, music and performance, inclusive play, eco play, totems and signs, seating solutions, adventure playgrounds and activity centres.

Our playground equipment family also includes ‘Playline Design' who manufacture and install adventure playgrounds, activity centres, trim trails, shelters & gazebos, storage and seating, balls sports and playground surfaces, markings and fencing.
