Kent College – Chris Joy - Senior Teacher, Director of Boarding & Digital Strategy
"Kent College has used EduCare courses as part of its boarding staff induction and training programmes for the past 4 years and has found them to be a very cost effective, efficient and easily audit-able especially at inspection time.
Recent changes and updates to Safeguarding requirements including the Prevent strategy caused Kent College in Canterbury to look again at an EduCare subscription for modules to deliver courses to our staff in both academic and support roles remotely through their email accounts. The results of which are fed back to the course administrator for recording or further training of the individual.
The courses are well structured, demanding enough to test uptake and assimilation and crucially time efficient for the users and the college. We would recommend them and the other units to independent schools looking for turnkey solutions that can be delivered by computer, tablet or smartphone at home or at work at your own pace."
British Schools Yangon – Chris Fagan - Headteacher
"I really enjoyed completing the EduCare modules. I found them to be interesting, informative and easy to follow. I particularly liked the fact that the modules were complemented with narration and although my school initially requested that I only complete two modules, I actually ended up doing six! Thank you for putting these courses together."
Why safeguarding and child protection?
We believe that PTAs are increasingly being asked by schools to have the skills, techniques and processes in place to safeguard children. We want to make sure that every PTA has resources available to best support the school community.
