Sometimes fundraising ideas can be demanding as well as time consuming tasks but, EcoKids takes all the hard work out!
EcoKids Clothing Recycling Project was founded in 2010. Our aim is to help schools, PTAs and youth organisations with their fundraising efforts. It’s easy to organise a collection with Ecokids. Just pre-arrange a collection day, distribute the bags so that friends, families and neighbours have time to fill them with unwanted stuff that is cluttering their wardrobes and cupboards. Bring the bags to the collection point, we collect the bags, tell you how much money you have raised and send our payment. It’s that easy!
- is eco-friendly and helps reduce landfill;
- actively promotes, encourages and educates children about textile recycling;
- help promote the recycling of wearable items to benefit those who rely on second- hand clothes as their only source for good quality items.
- St.Michael's CE Primary School, Lichfield
Since 2011, St. Michael’s CE Primary School in Lichfield has been working with the EcoKids recycling project. We have now held 10 collections and have raised £3000 towards school funds. EcoKids is an ABSOLUTE winner; it could not be easier to organise. The project team is a pleasure to deal with, very helpful & accommodating, collection pick up always at the time agreed. Funds are in the bank without fail on the day agreed. I have no hesitation in recommending EcoKids to any PTA looking for a simple yet effective fund raiser.
