Parents' evenings

At many parents’ evenings parents end up frustrated because they have spent much of the evening queuing and have not been able to talk to the one member of staff they most wanted to meet. Teachers can end up exhausted having tried to see as many parents as possible. And, where students are included, they often feel resentful at having to go back to school after the end of the school day and annoyed at being talked about rather than talked to or with.
