Having recently moved into a new purpose-built building, Friends of Three Rivers needed to help the school raise as much money as possible to fund the purchase of new equipment. Having asked pupils for some fundraising ideas, the result was a hugely successful colour run, which raised £2,500. We asked PTA Chair, Maggie Flannigan, to share her tips and insight into how they did it…
Edgar Stammers Primary Academy was placed into special measures in 2016. A new executive head teacher and head of school were appointed in May 2018 and, following many improvements, a recent Ofsted inspection has taken the school out of special measures, recognising its renewed sense of purpose, strong vision for pupils and improved staff morale.
