Our National PTA of the Year, Clowne Infant and Nursery PTA, faced the cost-of-living crisis head-on with an innovative sponsorship scheme. 

The collaboration between Parentkind and Iceland gave communities access to hot meals this winter.

When Eve Daniels became Chair of the John Roan School Association three years ago, she wanted to transform their enthusiastic friends group into a fundraising powerhouse for the whole community. After registering as a charity at the start of lockdown, the PTA began an ambitious project, aiming to bridge the learning gap that lockdown opened up… 

The staff at Gaelscoil na gCrann recognise the big commitment parents make in opting for an Irish Medium education for their children. When lockdown came, they worked hard to deliver the same standard of teaching – only virtually. 

Feeling the strain from the cancellation of events like their annual beer and gin festivals, fireworks shows, and more, HSCA stayed spirited to keep the Association going. 

The pandemic may still be wreaking havoc, but the festive spirit is alive and well in the village of High Legh in Cheshire. Unable to host their usual Christmas events, the High Legh Primary School PTA worked hard to craft their COVID-safe fundraisers. 

The staff at Redhill Primary Academy do an incredible job supporting pupils with their wellbeing. However, the school lacked a quiet and private space for this service to really thrive in. That is until the Friends of Redhill stepped in…
