Do something different for Father's day

We know that more dads want to get involved in their child's school life* so this Father's day we celebrated the importance of dads, step-dads, granddads and other father figures supporting their child's education at school and at home.

Why should more dads get involved at school?

There's loads of reasons to get involved at your child's school.

  • It shows your children you're interested in their education
    and school activities.
  • It shows you support your child's teachers and school.
  • It enables you to contribute to improving your child's school.

And it brings significant and positive outcomes including:

  • Better results in class and exams.
  • Greater happiness at school.
  • A positive attitude towards learning.
  • Higher future aspirations.
How can I do something different?

There are lots of ways you can do something different, for Father's day or any day – it's all about getting involved. Get a group of like-minded dads together and try out some new activities, take on a project you can fit around work and other commitments, or try something new that supports learning at home, there's got to be something for everyone right?
