Race night

Race nights offer a good way to get people together, to raise money. Many PTAs find that they are a fairly easy way of raising relatively high amounts of money.

A race night involves audience members placing bets on a series of races shown on a large screen. Horse races are usually used but car, motorbike or greyhound racing work equally well. But you need to be sure to stay on the right side of gambling legislation.
