Committee roles and responsibilities

What are the roles on a PTA committee? Key facts on the roles and responsibilities of PTA committee members.

The key elements of the structure of the association are the:

  • constitution (governing document)
  • members
  • committee
  • trustees

It is good practice to adopt a constitution at the outset or as soon as you are aware that your association does not have one. Parentkind has produced a model constitution for its members in England and Wales which has been accepted by the Charity Commission.
