How do I raise a concern with the school?

If you have an issue or concern that relates to your child, then you should approach the school directly. The first point of contact will usually be your child's class teacher or form tutor. Read our guide to handling concerns and complaints confidently.

I feel out of touch with what's going on at school, what can I do?

Get in touch with the school office and find out how they send messages to parents. Is there an app you can download? Do they send emails or texts? If so check they have your contact details. Discuss the type of information you'd like to receive, here are some ideas of what you might expect.
