Be School Ready Magazines

Be School Ready 2019

Thank you to everyone who supported our Be School Ready campaign again this year. If you ordered magazines, we hope they were a useful tool to help you give a warm welcome to new parents and encourage them to get involved with your parent association.

Congratulations to our two prize draw winners at Warden Hill Primary School and Sir Thomas Rich’s School, who each won £100 M&S vouchers and £150 M&S vouchers for their school’s PTA.

Thank you for your feedback

We’re delighted to have received such positive feedback again this year, with most PTAs telling us you’d recommend the magazines to other PTAs, would like to receive them again next year, and that the magazine helps you promote your PTA to new parents.
Here’s what a few parents and teachers told us:

“I was already prepared but this has helped me be more prepared!” Parent

“Thanks for doing a magazine like this as I have been looking for information like this to help my child.” Parent

“This magazine has all the essentials from a parent perspective to be ready for their child’s journey
on the first day at reception thank you very much.”
Teacher

“A parent of 2 children at my school found out about your magazines for school readiness somehow and ordered us a load… I've read them both today - they're brilliant. So clear, informative and mindful of the pressures on parents and expectations of school. Thank you.” Head teacher

Ongoing support

Did you know the Parentkind website is packed with top tips, blogs, and practical advice that your PTA can share with parents throughout the year? Why not share articles from our Parents’ Hub on social media or in a PTA newsletter, and let parents know they can sign up to receive our free eBullein every half-term.

Additionally there are free posters and flyers to help your PTA welcome new parents, spread the word about all your achievements and events, and PDF copies of the magazines all in the PTA resources area.
