Jayne Woolcock, Headteacher — Penllergaer Primary SchoolA thoroughly enjoyable interactive event for all ages across the primary school; parents and staff enjoyed too! The pupils experienced the exciting atmosphere of the Big Top and were treated to a quality show complete with costumes, lighting and sound, from highly skilled performers and acrobats. Safeguarding protocols and Health and Safety are held in high regard for this very professional company. They provide schools with a host of certificates, risk assessments and relevant documentation in these areas.
There is a ‘moral’ theme running through the show which is a positive one in that we should all feel good about ourselves and respect others, treating them as we wish to be treated ourselves. The event raised much needed funds for the school also! Happy Circus, Happy Audience!

Catherine Harwood & Richard Paganuzzi — Hook School Parents AssociationWe have had an overwhelming number of parents thank us for such a fantastic event. It was so lovely to see the children enjoying it (and adults too!).
You were all so professional and we are very grateful that you performed two shows over two days rather than the one we originally booked.
We were in tears seeing how happy the children were during your show for two nights. You have the pleasure of seeing this happiness every night and we are extremely envious.
Wishing you all the best and I am sure this won’t be the last time Happy’s Circus comes to Hook.
You are responsible for:
- Advance publicity & ticket sales
- Providing a suitable site with an area approximately 50m x 50m of flat grass within which all the Circus vehicles and trailers are sited. If the school does not have a suitable area, then another school/council recreational area/football, rugby &cricket clubs/scout group may be suitable
- Ensuring easy access for our vehicles & trailers with an unobstructed minimum 3m width & minimum 3.5m height. Our transport includes no articulated lorries. It is designed for school playing fields, particularly ideal for urban premises with restricted access & village locations
- Ensuring that the entrance to the site is clear of parked vehicles when we arrive & leave as congested streets will prevent us from accessing the event site
- Organising someone to meet us when we arrive
- Providing toilets, water, and litter bins
- Providing helpers during the event to collect tickets, help seat the audience and litter pick
- Ensuring that the touring team can stay on site overnight
Rachael Anderson — St James’ Primary School PTAHello all at Happy’s Circus, could you please share this big thank you with the team that were in Southam on Wednesday night putting on a super duper Happy’s Circus show for the children of our town. As you can see by the image, we have raised an incredible amount of money and we are over the moon. All the hard work that has gone in the last few months has been worth it. The team were a pleasure to work with! They have supported all the way and Pat whipped us into shape on the evening to help everything run like clock work! It was a pleasure to meet such a polite and friendly bunch of people.
I hope you continue to wow children around the country for many years because you have left a real buzz in this town. A couple of comments “it was really exciting”, “best circus I have been to”, “What a great night, I was a 55 year old kid”, “The whole thing was amazing”, “brilliant fun”, “you put such huge smiles on so many little (and not so little) faces tonight”………I could go on and on
Samantha Howard — St Wilfred’s PTA, Northwich, CheshireI would just like to say a massive thank you for yesterday! The circus was amazing and so much more than we expected.
The whole evening was perfect, the atmosphere was amazing and the circus is still the main topic of conversation for parents and children, who have told us it’s the best thing they have ever attended and that the school have held.
When we booked you 18 months ago we were all very nervous about how it would work and if we could make it successful. But with a lot of hard work and a good team with us and the support from you, it was a huge success, and we have a very grateful and ecstatic School. You have all been so helpful, friendly, and given great advice, The blue team were great in giving us ideas for setting out our stalls to work together.
We are not a massive school but with the support from you and local businesses we estimate we have raise approx £5000 which is phenomenal.
We will be booking you again!!
Hardeep Singh — Cookham Rise Primary School, MaidenheadOn behalf of the Cookham Rise PTA, I’d like to say a BIG “thank you” to you and your team.
I know we sent lots of questions and queries and they were all answered promptly. So thanks for being there every step of the way. Ross and Pip were awesome. Smiling from the time I met them to the time they left. It was very very hot, but that didn’t detract from their level of professionalism. They were keen to ensure we had a good time, and we had a great time!. Kids still talking about it all day today.
We sold 460 tickets in total. We feel we could have sold more and our advertising further afield from the school could have been better — learning points for us. However, preliminary figures are showing that we have raised just over £6K. We usually raise around the £4.5K mark.
So all round a fab day with fab people.
Thank you all so much and please pass our thanks on to Ross, Pip and the whole team.
